About Us
The Dalit Welfare Association (DWA) is a member-based, movement-oriented non-governmental organization (NGO) of Dalit activists and is one of the largest Dalit human rights NGOs in Nepal.
Established in 1996 Nawalparasi (east) district administration office (DAO), DWA registered N0: 260/053/54 DAO office Nawalparasi (east) which concerned under the home minister, SWC affiliated number is 16236.
DWA its central office is in Maitrinagar, Kirtipur municipality ward N0.02 Kathmandu. The DWA works to eliminate caste-based discrimination in the South Asia Region. DWA is recognized as one of the major organizations working for the empowerment and inclusion of the Dalit community, promoting access to education and better livelihoods, food security and sustainable agriculture, poverty eradication and rural development climate change resilience and disaster risk reduction program.
